Miele Appliances We Repair
Miele’s product line is narrower than mass-market brands, but every category is built to outlast the competition.

W1 & honeycomb drum series
Dryers
T1 & heat pump models
Dishwashers
G7000 & integrated series
Ovens & Ranges
H series & speed ovens
Refrigerators
MasterCool & PerfectCool series
Coffee Machines
Built-in & freestanding CVA series
Dishwashers
Miele dishwashers — particularly the G 4000, G 5000, and G 7000 series — are workhorses. They run at 45 dB or less, dry with exhaust heat or AutoOpen technology, and handle daily loads for two decades. When they need repair, we diagnose the fault accurately and fix it right the first time.
Washers and Dryers
The W1 series washers and T1 series dryers are front-loaders built for precision. Drum bearings, door interlock assemblies, and heating elements on these machines require careful handling — and a technician who knows the difference between a W1 Classic and a W1 Excellence. We do.
Miele Appliance Repair for Ranges and Ovens
Miele ranges demand precision service. Whether your oven won’t hold temperature, the induction cooktop is unresponsive, or the M Touch control panel is showing errors, we repair it. We are TSSA certified for gas and propane appliances — a requirement for any Miele gas range work in Ontario.
Vacuum Cleaners
Miele vacuums outlast most household appliances. We repair motors, replace filters and brush bars, and resolve electrical faults on both Miele upright and canister models.

Common Miele Appliance Repair Problems — Error Codes and Causes
Miele appliances rarely fail. When they do, the error codes are specific and the diagnostics are methodical. Here is what we see most often — and how we address each fault.
Dishwasher F13 and F14 Error Codes
What they mean: F13 signals a water intake fault. F14 signals a drainage fault.
Common causes: A clogged inlet filter restricts incoming water pressure. A blocked drain pump impeller or kinked drain hose traps water inside the tub. The pressure switch — which tells the control board how much water is present — can also fail and trigger both codes incorrectly.
Our approach: We inspect the inlet screen and solenoid valve, clean or replace the drain pump, check the pressure switch, and test actual water flow before writing the repair quote.
Washer E23 and E36 Error Codes
What they mean: E23 indicates a door interlock failure. E36 signals a drum bearing fault.
Why they happen: Front-loader door locks wear over thousands of cycles — the locking tongue and solenoid degrade with use. Drum bearings on heavily loaded W1 machines eventually fail, producing a grinding noise on spin before the error appears.
Our repair: We replace door interlock assemblies with genuine Miele components. Bearing replacement requires full drum removal, but it restores the machine to factory specification and eliminates drum wobble.
Dryer F63 and F64 Error Codes
What they mean: F63 signals a heating element failure. F64 indicates a faulty NTC temperature sensor.
The issue: Heating elements degrade naturally over a machine’s service life. NTC sensors lose calibration or stop transmitting temperature data, causing the dryer’s control board to shut the cycle down prematurely as a safety measure.
How we fix it: We replace the faulty element or NTC sensor, then run a full heat-output test to confirm the dryer is operating within Miele’s temperature parameters before we leave.
Oven F0 and F1 Display Errors
What they mean: F0 points to a control board fault. F1 signals a temperature sensor failure.
Cause: Control boards can fail from power surges or gradual component degradation — capacitors on Miele oven boards are a known weak point. Temperature sensors lose accuracy or stop transmitting signals to the board entirely.
Our solution: We diagnose the fault with calibrated test equipment, replace the defective board or sensor, and calibrate the oven cavity to Miele’s factory temperature tolerance.
Dishwasher Running But Not Cleaning Properly
Your Miele completes a cycle, but dishes come out dirty or spotted. Two faults stand out as most likely: spray arm nozzle blockage and reduced water pressure.
Mineral deposits from hard Ontario water clog the spray arm nozzles over time — we clean or replace the arm assembly. A failing inlet valve or degraded pressure switch reduces wash pressure below the threshold needed for proper cleaning. We restore full flow and retest before closing the job.
Why Miele Appliance Repair Requires a Specialist
Miele is not built like a Samsung or a Whirlpool. Every component is proprietary. Disassembly sequences for a G 7000 dishwasher differ substantially from any mass-market machine. Service documentation is extensive — and we follow it exactly.
Genuine Miele parts cost more than aftermarket alternatives. They also fit perfectly, last longer, and preserve your appliance’s resale value. We stock genuine Miele replacement parts and source others from authorised suppliers. We will not install aftermarket components on your machine.
A technician trained specifically on Miele machines knows where faults hide and how to handle precision mechanisms without causing secondary damage. Guesswork wastes your time and money. We diagnose first — then repair.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a Miele appliance worth repairing?
In most cases, yes. A Miele dishwasher or washer costs $2,000 to $5,000 new. Repairing a 10-year-old machine — even at $500 to $800 — is financially sound when years of reliable service remain. Miele machines also age well mechanically. A properly repaired unit performs at close to factory specification.
How long do Miele dishwashers typically last?
Miele designs dishwashers to last 20 years under normal household use. Many owners report 15 to 25 years of reliable service. With timely repairs and basic maintenance — cleaning the inlet filter every few months, for example — you can reach the upper end of that range.
Do you use genuine Miele replacement parts?
Yes. We stock genuine Miele parts and order others directly from authorised suppliers. Aftermarket parts often don’t fit correctly and fail well before the original component’s lifespan. We won’t install them on your appliance.
My Miele dishwasher shows an F14 error — is it serious?
F14 means the dishwasher can’t drain properly. Common causes include a blocked drain pump impeller, a kinked or clogged drain hose, or a failed pressure switch giving the control board incorrect water-level readings. Left unaddressed, standing water can damage the tub seal and base components. Same-day appointments may be available. SureFit confirms timing after reviewing your request.
Do you repair Miele vacuum cleaners?
Yes. We repair both Miele upright and canister vacuum models. Motor replacements, filter servicing, brush bar repairs, and electrical faults are all handled directly. Call us to describe the fault and we’ll confirm whether a technician visit or parts-based repair is the right approach.
