You can request either type. SureFit reviews the model, mounting area, dimensions, power and ventilation details before confirming whether the installation can be accepted.
Can you install a hood where there is no existing duct?
Describe the planned location and choose “Not sure” for the ventilation details. New duct routes or exterior openings are not assumed to be part of a standard installation and must be reviewed separately.
What if the new hood is a different size?
Include the old and new dimensions plus photos of the cabinet or wall area. Any fit, cabinet, backsplash or ventilation changes are reviewed before the work is confirmed.
